Handsome Furs | Indie Asia: Ep.3 - Great Wall

Here's CNN's Indie Asia - Episode 3 of Handsome Furs while on tour in China. I was looking at some of the comments people have made regarding CNN's website coverage of the Handsome Furs and I have only one word to say, wow. People were actually divided about whether CNN should have a video series by a rock band on their website or they should be covering much more important issues such as jobs, economy and healthcare. I say give me some new content and the rock, give me Handsome Furs.

Broken Social Scene | New Album and Free MP3

If you haven't gotten your Broken Social Scene tickets in the U.S. yet, you might be too late as the shows appear to be selling out really fast. They released the first track titled "World Sick" as a free MP3 on their website: http://www.brokensocialscene.ca/ from the new album Forgiveness Rock Record to tide us over until it drops on May 4. The MP3-trak is well worth the price of an email address.

Just watched episode 2 of Handsome Furs' adventures in Asia and I have to give props to CNN for partnering with Subpop and the band to make it happen. I've never really been a fan of CNN and this makes me think maybe they're not so bad. Click the above video to play.

CoCo B's "I Live in L.A." Video Shoot

This past weekend we finally got around to shooting a video for the song "I Live in L.A." up in the mountains and had a blast. We're hoping to have it edited and completed in the next few weeks for public consumption. Big thanks to our friend Wes Davis for coming out from L.A. to help us get it done. You rule Wes! Radio Dept. | Lesser Matters

If you're a fan of My Bloody Valentine and Neutral Milk Hotel, then you'll probably like The Radio Dept. and their 2003 album Lesser Matters. Even though they've been around since 1995, it's this 2003 album that placed them on the map and set them apart from the rest.
