I Break Horses | Hearts: Album Stream

I am loving I Break Horses debut album Hearts right now. It's the perfect combination of ingredients that brings to mind The Primitives and The Raveonettes at their best. The Smiths | 1992 Press Documentary

I'm watching the above video right now as I'm typing this and I'm feeling like it's definitely going to be a Smiths kind of day. It's a bit hokey with the PBS like commentary, but the point gets made fairly quickly. The Smiths are genius.

Tycho | Hours: Dive LP Preview

There's just something about Tycho, aka Scott Hansen, that not a lot of artists have the ability to accomplish using primarily electronics. Tycho's tendency toward hypnotic beats isn't the most original, but it's his use of catchy and organic sounds that make his stuff perfectly genius. The above track is from Tycho's full length titled Dive and scheduled to be released in 11/2011.
