Not only does this video prove Ryan Adams is pretty much a genius, but damn can Vampire Weekend write a good song or what!?!?

Labrador Records | Compilation: Free MP3 Download
I've been listening to Labrador Records 22 track compilation Stockholm Belongs to Us for the last week or so and really can't say enough good things about it. If you're unfamiliar with the Labrador Records roster, this compilation is a great introduction to the sounds coming out of this Swedish label. Here's the link: http://www.labrador.se/stockholm/. And did I mention it's free!
Steve Nash | What Happens After Practice
I'm not a huge fan of Steve Nash, but I'm a big fan of this commercial. It kind of leaves you going, what just happened!?!?!

I Break Horses | Hearts & Winter Beats: Video & Stream
I just heard the band I Break Horses today and can't stop listening to the songs I've been able to locate so far. Similar to the likes of My Bloody Valentine, M83, or Radio Dept., this band from Sweden has got it going on. Check out the video above and if that strikes your fancy, the band's website is a good place to start. All of their songs available thus far can be heard there. As far as I can tell, they only have a 12" record coming out in the near future, no full length as of yet. 07/17/2011 - Correction: Full length will be out 08/22/2011.

Teddy Bears | Crystal Meth Christian (ft. The Flaming Lips)
This past week I was traveling and happened to be in a rental car with Sirius Satellite Radio, man how I miss Sirius. I used to have it on my TV through Dish but moved to a new area and been deprived ever since. No commercials, no radio hiss, less talk and more music. I guess my point to this post is I heard quite a few songs that I'll be sharing in the next few days and this is one of them - Teddy Bears, Crystal Meth Christian (ft. The Flaming Lips).

The Horrors | Skying: New Album Stream
I've been hearing The Horrors on and off for the past year and have really liked what I've heard. Their new album, Skying, is no exception. If you're a fan of My Bloody Valentine without the dreamy vocal parts and a bit of Nick Cave thrown in for good measure, you won't be disappointed. The album is being released on July 11.
